Leslie W. Stewart IV
A Brooklyn, New York native, Leslie received his degree in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Afterward, he moved to Los Angeles as a manager of business development for a media firm specializing in advising, due diligence and trend-spotting for international investors and firms focused on media, technology and convergence.
Leslie then launched his real estate career in the LA market, working at a full-service retail representation firm doing site selection for global brands. Here Leslie honed his negotiation, project management, and creative deal structuring skills while collaborating with landlords, developers, and industry-leading lifestyle retailers throughout the US.
Driven by a life-changing experience while consulting for small businesses in South Africa, Leslie joined the United States Peace Corps in Nicaragua. He worked with the Ministry of Education to train educators in an entrepreneurship curriculum and advised local businesses and initiatives. He was asked to extend his service for an additional year in a leadership role, providing professional guidance for new volunteers. He continues his passion for international development as a board member for the locally based non-profit Comunidad Connect, which focuses on the creation of community-based sustainable development throughout Nicaragua.
Having been stationed in Rivas during the Peace Corps, Leslie has gained extensive hands-on knowledge on the South Pacific region of Nicaragua and has a broad array of contacts and resources. He is also an active investor with raw land and property holdings and brings his personal and professional prowess to help investors identify the right opportunities based on their needs. Committed to the social and economic development of this country, Leslie is a great resource for small or large investors looking to begin or expand their holdings in Nicaragua.
