My name is Jesse ‘Pedro’ Resau and I’m the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Coastal Properties. Originally from the Washington D.C. metro area, I arrived in Nicaragua in 2002 as a Peace Corps Volunteer under the ‘Sustainable Food Security’ program.  Since completing my Peace Corps service I decided to stay in Nicaragua and work in real estate & development.  In 2005 I met my wife Gabriela Castillo and started a family soon thereafter.  We are currently raising 2 amazing daughters here in Nicaragua.

After working with a couple different real estate companies between 2005 to 2011 my wife and I decided to start our own real estate business and purchased a RE/MAX franchise and opened to the public.  Since opening our doors in 2011 we have obtained multiple real estate certifications that help us serve our clients needs here in Nicaragua.

I have a vested interest in the community and also with our real estate as we own our personal residence as well as a few rental properties and unimproved parcels of land.
