As part of one of the main streets, Dos Chinos San Juan del Sur attracts a lot of pedestrians traffic. There are also various parking spots available along the street.

About the owners:

Louis and Nick, two friends both with Chinese roots, moved to Nicaragua a couple of years ago and decided to open the Dos Chinos Restaurant. They were inspired by the good old Chinese food they grew up with. They also thought that the community of San Juan del Sur would appreciate some new flavor in restaurant options. Louis’ dad owns many Chinese restaurants in France and helped elaborate the Dos Chinos menu while also organizing the kitchen. The menu currently features more than 25 different homemade Asian dishes.

Now is the time for new owners to push this amazing restaurant to the next level as Louis has returned back to France for personal reasons, and Nick is now working a full-time online job.  They are willing to sell their growing turnkey business for the amount they invested in renovations, equipment, and furniture.

More about the restaurant location and building:

Dos Chinos’ rent is fairly low and the landlord is an amazing woman to deal with. It’s a two-floor building.

• a food storage bodega
• a dishwashing room
• 3 open rooms with tables and chairs (up to 25 clients)

The second floor features:

• a terrace furnished with benches, tables (hosting up to 10 clients)
• a small horizontal garden with plants all around
• 2 bedrooms currently used to store personal assets
• 1 bathroom

In addition, note that the second floor could be turned into a full rooftop deck with some extra investment.

About the business property and concept:

Dos Chinos Restaurant is currently self-running as it does not require the regular involvement of the owners. Indeed, the restaurant has a friendly and competent staff team that has been running the operations and marketing. The business is already making a profit despite the turbulences encountered with the global pandemic and subsequent lack of tourism in Nicaragua.

All recipes, operational workflows, branding, furniture, equipment, existing food/drink stock etc transfer with the sale to the new owner(s).

Dos Chinos Restaurant certainly has many loyal clients in San Juan del Sur that have their favorite dishes (Pad Thai and Nems!) but are also always keen to try new special ones as well (Ramen? Sushi? Poke Bowl?).

Moreover, the restaurant is set up with two delivery companies around town and also a national delivery grocery company that offers our famous frozen dumplings!  In addition, Dos Chinos can and has accommodated catering events on request that has been a great extra revenue for the business.
